Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Silas Tucker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ernesti Koppinen!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Matti Vanhoillinen and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Koppinen shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Tucker's guard.
Koppinen is looking to work some ground and pound but Tucker has wrist control.
Tucker is controlling Koppinen's posture.
Koppinen trying to control the position from guard on top but Tucker is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Tucker is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Koppinen is controlling him.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Koppinen fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Tucker to the ground. Koppinen is now in Tucker's guard.

Koppinen had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Tucker defends it easily.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Koppinen can do anything to dispel that myth.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Ernesti Koppinen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Koppinen closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Koppinen is landing with some decent strikes but Tucker is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Silas Tucker has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Ernesti Koppinen is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Well Koppinen has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
