The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Life misses with a combination

and Fall counters with a shoot takedown. Life fights it but they end up in guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Life trying to control the position.
Fall prevents Life from getting back to his feet.
Life wants to sweep here but Fall controlling him for the moment.
Fall chips away with some ground and pound.
Fall throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Life works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Fall postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Fall drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Fall jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Life will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Fall lands a big elbow - Life is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Fall!
