Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Magnus Svenstroem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Regis Lobo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Magnus Svenstroem has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lobo will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Svenstroem doesn't manage to clinch there - Lobo circles away.

Svenstroem drives through and clinches with Lobo against the cage.

Lobo has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Svenstroem uses from the top position.

Lobo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Svenstroem can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Lobo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Svenstroem doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Svenstroem manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Svenstroem has closed the distance and engaged Lobo in a clinch.
Lobo presses Svenstroem against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Lobo pushes off an throws an elbow but Svenstroem leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
A head punch on the inside from Lobo fails to land.
Lobo tries to pull guard but Svenstroem holds him up against the cage and eventually Lobo drops back down to his feet.

Svenstroem is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Lobo's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Lobo's back!

Lobo won't enjoy being in this position. Svenstroem looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Lobo is tapping - it's over boys! Svenstroem picks up the submission victory!
