Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Leopold Scotch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Helio dos Passos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
dos Passos swats away the attempt to clinch by Scotch.

Scotch moves into the clinch.

Scotch has dropped down and is working for a takedown. dos Passos is trying to keep an underhook but Scotch manages to get the takedown into half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Scotch throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Scotch goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, dos Passos has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Scotch but great work by dos Passos.

dos Passos bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Scotch closes the distance and pushes dos Passos back into the cage.

dos Passos is fighting off a takedown attempt but Scotch is just too persistent for him and manages to trip dos Passos to the mat. dos Passos regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Scotch looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! dos Passos can't hide his disappointment, as Scotch celebrates the victory.
