Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Boris Kamin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antero Kannas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Boris Kamin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Antero Kannas!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Radbod Blank and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kamin looks to land a right hand but Kannas moved out of range.
Kannas tries to bum rush Kamin with a series of wild strikes but Kamin uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
We've been told by Kamin's head coaches at Kebab House that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Nice defenses there by Kamin.
Kamin misses with a body kick.
Kannas keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kamin throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Kannas changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kamin looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Kannas with the ground and pound but Kamin regains half guard under the barage of strikes.

Kannas thows a huge punch but Kamin dodges it nicely.
Kannas is nestled in close to Kamin, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Kannas has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kannas looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Kannas is looking to stall here but Kamin recovers full guard.

Kannas not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Kannas postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Kannas is in close to Kamin's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Kannas trying to control the position from guard on top but Kamin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kannas might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Kamin haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Antero Kannas dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Kannas closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Kamin to the mat! Kamin manages to get full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kannas accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Kannas passes Kamin's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Kamin has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kannas is working away from the top position though.
Kamin is pressing down on Kannas's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Kamin wants to control but Kannas is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Kamin is staying active underneath Kannas, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Kannas wants to take a breather but Kamin is having none of it.
Kannas throws a strike but Kamin avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Kannas postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Antero Kannas has got the better of the ground game so far.

Kannas works over Kamin with some ground and pound from guard.
Kannas throws a big elbow that misses.
Kannas slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Kannas connects with a couple of short punches.
Kannas in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kannas pushing down on Kamin's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kannas is trying to control. Kamin wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Antero Kannas showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Kannas jabs Kamin to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Kannas lands with an uppercut that bounces Kamin off the cage and back into range.

Kamin gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Kannas seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kannas connects with a nice short shot to Kamin's temple.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Kamin has momentary wrist control but Kannas slips an elbow through the middle.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Antero Kannas comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Kannas has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
