Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Peter Branson and Santiago Holmes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Blower with that takedown attempt.
Silva should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Blower shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Silva eats them both and turns towards Blower to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Silva fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Blower sprawls well initially but Silva persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Blower is trying to control but can't.
Silva takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Blower is defending against the submission attempts here by Silva.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Silva in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Blower tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Silva!
