Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Burt Guth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Spiller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Guth comes into the arena with Alva Noto - Module 7 blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Guth lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Guth has Spiller pressed against the cage, preventing Spiller from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Guth throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Spiller blocks it with crossed arms.

That was a close round but I would say that Burt Guth will probably get the nod.

Spiller fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Guth looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Guth really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Guth shoots in looking for a takedown. Spiller tries to sprawl out of it but Guth keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Spiller manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Spiller dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Guth. That did some damage!

Guth feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
