Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Aizaz Hassan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Swanson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Aizaz Hassan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mark Swanson!
The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Eliza Hachem and Darius Henderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swanson connects with a single shot there.
Hassan takes the fight into the clinch.
Swanson wants to take the fight to the mat but Hassan manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
A knee to the head by Swanson.
Hassan landing knees to the body.
Swanson is looking to take this one to the mat.
Hassan has picked Swanson up - he's going for a ride! Hassan dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Hassan frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Swanson is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Hassan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Swanson seems a little lost for a moment, as Hassan dominates the positioning.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Swanson tries to escape but Hassan is in control.
Swanson manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Swanson throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Swanson. Hassan shrugs it off though.

Swanson tries to kick Hassan off but Hassan keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Hassan throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Swanson was covering up waiting for the punch and Hassan finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Hassan is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Swanson is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Swanson is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Mark Swanson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Swanson moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Hassan feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hassan, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
