Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vladamir Drago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones has chosen Everybody Knows as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Jones throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Drago closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Drago frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Drago gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

Drago seems to be working for a kimura but Jones defends the submission attempt.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jones is on top in guard.

Drago working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jones doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jones manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Drago had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Jones is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Drago Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Jones's back instead.
Jones breaks Drago's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Jones is sitting in close to Drago's body. Drago has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Jones is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Jones is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Drago.
