These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brookins sizes up Garcia with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
An inside leg kick lands from Brookins.
Brookins pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Garcia back to the cage. Brookins follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Garcia shoots for a double leg takedown but Brookins sprawls well. He's pushed Garcia's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

He's trying desperately to grab hold of Brookins around the waist but Brookins pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Brookins is the winner by TKO! Brookins jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
