Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Kimura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Fistface (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kimura comes into the arena with Seek and Destroy blaring out of the sound system. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Joe Kimura!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Matt Fistface!
The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Bruno Hogan and Darius Henderson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fistface defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kimura.
Fistface circles away from the clinch attempt.
Joe Kimura seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fistface ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kimura moves away.

Fistface clinches.
Kimura has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Fistface avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Kimura changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Fistface fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Kimura. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Kimura shoots in and bounces Fistface off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Fistface has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Kimura is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Kimura is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Fistface pulls his head out easily.
Fistface tries to pass the half guard into mount. Kimura knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Fistface thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Fistface looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kimura with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Kimura seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
Fistface must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Kimura is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Fistface has his hands clasped together but Kimura extends and breaks Fistface's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Kimura.
