Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Jayden Ray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phil Lynott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lynott has chosen Out in the Fields as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jayden Ray!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Phil Lynott!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lynott takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Lynott takes a swing at Ray's ribcage but misses.
Ray defending well as Lynott loads up on a big left hand.
Ray misses with a wild body shot.
Ray with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Ray throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Ray throws a looping overhand right but Lynott ducks down to avoid it.
Ray steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Lynott.
Lynott tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Ray is able to avoid easily.
Ray scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!


It looks like Phil Lynott has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lynott slips a straight right by Ray.
Lynott connects with a good right hand that stumbles Ray. Ray circles away out of range and recomposes himself.


It looks like Jayden Ray has been cut.
Ray looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Lynott pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Ray looks to land a combination but Lynott avoids it well.
Ray throws a right and a left that both miss.
Ray defending well as Lynott loads up on a big left hand.

Lynott is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ray.
Lynott scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
We've been told by Ray's head coaches at Xtreme Punishment that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Lynott takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Lynott loads up on a big right hand but Ray slips the punch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Lynott looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ray misses with a double jab.
Lynott showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Ray.
Ray thows a body shot but no joy.
Ray connects with a right hand. Lynott shakes it off.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ray dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Ray defending well as Lynott loads up on a big left hand.
Ray tries to bum rush Lynott with a series of wild strikes but Lynott uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Phil Lynott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ray misses with a looping left.

Nice straight punches there by Lynott. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Lynott.
Lynott tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Ray manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Lynott throws a low kick but Ray avoids it.
Ray stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Lynott.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Lynott wants to clinch.
Ray lands a really nice looking cross but Lynott seems unphased.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jayden Ray dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Ray swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ray ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Ray cracks a nice hook into Lynott's ribs.
Ray is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Ray throws a right and a left that Lynott avoids nicely.
Nice uppercut lands for Lynott. That snapped Ray's head back.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A nice combination there by Ray.
A low kick from Lynott is predictable there
and Lynott takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Ray scores with a big combo that sends Lynott crashing to the mat! He's still conscious but the referee has seen enough as Lynott flops around uncontrollably and he's called an end to the fight! Ray jumps onto the ropes and throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Gross.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jayden Ray!
During a confident post fight interview, Jayden Ray thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
