Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Abel Hardin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Kovac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Gregory Folan and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kovac misses with a low kick as Hardin jumps back.

Kovac closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hardin did well to prevent Kovac getting side control.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Hardin moves into full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kovac with a nice head shot there.

It looks like Abel Hardin has been cut.
Kovac throwing strikes from guard but Hardin blocks nicely.
Hardin wants to sweep but no luck.

Hardin has his foot on Kovac's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kovac works his way back into a safe position though.
Kovac distracts Hardin with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Hardin is looking for a triangle here but Kovac uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Hardin taking punishment in the form of punches.
Hardin tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kovac wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Hardin is working to avoid the ground and pound but Kovac connects with a decent elbow.

Hardin is rocked!
Hardin could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Kovac scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Hardin is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Kovac can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
