Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kantemir Gaunov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lukasz Kliza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kantemir Gaunov has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lukasz Kliza!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gaunov is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kliza doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Gaunov.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kliza has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gaunov can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Gaunov lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Gaunov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kliza has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gaunov has managed to get both his arms back between Kliza's legs - danger averted.

Kliza is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Kliza working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gaunov doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gaunov manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That was a close round but I would say that Kantemir Gaunov will probably get the nod.

Gaunov is taking a breather. Kliza says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Gaunov is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kliza is just riding it out for now. Gaunov eventually gives up the hold.

Kliza has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Gaunov should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Kliza has tightened it up now! Gaunov should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
