The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maquiavel misses with a takedown attempt - Tuukkanen sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Tuukkanen throws a series of punches but Maquiavel moves out of range.

Maquiavel fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tuukkanen manages to avoid it.

Maquiavel has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Maquiavel connects with a nice short shot to Tuukkanen's temple.
Tuukkanen is in trouble now - Maquiavel has advanced to mount!
Tuukkanen is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Maquiavel wants to control the pace but Tuukkanen is squirming around nicely.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tuukkanen can do anything to dispel that myth.
