Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Stewart Bradford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Azamat Bagov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Stewart Bradford!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Azamat Bagov!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Alyssa Summers and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Bradford moves in looking to clinch but Bagov pushes him off.

Bagov gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Bradford preventing the sweep.
Bradford wants to stand but Bagov is controlling his posture from full guard.
Bradford wants to stand and escape but instead Bagov has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Bradford looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bagov thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Bagov drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bagov jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Bradford wants to stand but Bagov is controlling the position.
Bagov wants to pass the guard but Bradford is keeping the position.
Bagov prevents Bradford from getting back to his feet.
Bagov is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Bagov drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Bradford dives on top into guard.
Bagov has a closed guard, preventing Bradford from standing up.
Bradford is breathing heavily.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bradford accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Bradford got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bagov has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bradford has managed to get both his arms back between Bagov's legs - danger averted.

Bagov seems keen to control Bradford's posture.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Bagov is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Bagov is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bradford is aware though and is defending well.

Bradford gets to his feet - Bagov follows without any prompting.
Stewart Bradford seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bradford pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Bradford shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Bagov manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Bagov is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Bradford has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bagov wants to hit a switch here but Bradford passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Bagov there!
Bagov is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Bagov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bradford. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bradford lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Bagov hang on?
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Bradford goes for an armbar but Bagov turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Bagov.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Stewart Bradford dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Bradford is working Bagov over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Bagov escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bradford gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bradford tries to stand but Bagov is controlling from the bottom.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Bagov holds on and takes a little breather.
Bradford wants to stand but Bagov has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Bradford is looking to work some ground and pound but Bagov has wrist control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bagov can do anything to dispel that myth.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Bagov is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bradford defends well.

Bradford is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Bagov has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Bradford is looking to defend but Bagov has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Bradford! Bagov pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Bradford taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:47 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Azamat Bagov!
Azamat Bagov spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
