Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cory Fox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oleg Dorosklov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Cory Fox!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Oleg Dorosklov!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Valeri Chadov and Aleksandr Martynov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fox tries to sprawl but Dorosklov drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Dorosklov slips a nice elbow through Fox's hands, connecting with Fox's forehead.
Fox tries to kick Dorosklov off in order to stand up. Dorosklov Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Dorosklov lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Fox takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Fox wants to control but Dorosklov postures up.
Fox wants to get back to his feet but Dorosklov drags him back down.
Dorosklov tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Dorosklov is staying tight to Fox's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Fox really is a fat lump.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dorosklov grinds an elbow into Fox's temple.
Dorosklov advances nicely into full mount.
Dorosklov is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Fox is in real trouble.
Dorosklov scores with strikes from the back.
Fox might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Fox is trying to get back to his feet but Dorosklov has full control of the position and if anything, Fox has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Fox is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
It looks like Dorosklov might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Dorosklov's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

What can Fox do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Dorosklov has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Fox has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Fox is really stuck here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dorosklov is riding his opponent, not letting Fox buck him off.
Let's hope that Dorosklov has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Fox fending off the submission attempt from Dorosklov.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
The referee is taking a good look at Fox as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Dorosklov!

Fox trying to control the action but Dorosklov just sinks the hooks in.

Dorosklov has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Dorosklov is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Fox controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.
Fox rolls, trying to escape but Dorosklov keeps control of the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Fox tries to clinch but Dorosklov is having none of it.

Fox closes the distance and pushes Dorosklov back into the cage.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Fox is looking to improve his position.

Dorosklov lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Dorosklov content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Dorosklov wants to get back to his feet.
Dorosklov slows the pace down in half guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Oleg Dorosklov hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Dorosklov changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Fox throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Dorosklov changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Fox looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Dorosklov is staying tight to Fox's torso, preventing him from escaping.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Fox striking from the bottom but nothing landed.
Fox is trying to control Dorosklov's posture but Dorosklov avoids it.
Dorosklov wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fox keeps working.

Fox strikes from the bottom but Dorosklov takes advantage and advances to full mount!
Dorosklov tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fox is trying to reverse the position but instead Dorosklov has taken his back - oops!
Fox trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.

Dorosklov is looking for a choke. Fox gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Fox manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard.
Dorosklov scores with a couple of body punches from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Fox wanted to stand there but Dorosklov had control of the position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dorosklov can do anything to dispel that myth.
Dorosklov is adopting a defensive guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Oleg Dorosklov showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Fox has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Dorosklov is proving hard to escape from.

Fox is bucking up trying to escape but Dorosklov cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Oh Fox is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Dorosklov drops a big elbow. That's hurt Fox! More shots from Dorosklov and the ref steps in! The fight is over!
