The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Abatti clobbers Jenkins with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Johnny Abatti seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Abatti instigates a clinch.
Abatti will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Jenkins up against the cage.

Jenkins ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Jenkins no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jenkins moves in looking to clinch but Abatti pushes him off.
Jenkins closes the distance and clinches up with Abatti, looking for a takedown. Jenkins pushes Abatti against the cage but Abatti circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Johnny Abatti has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brad Jenkins.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Abatti motions for Jenkins to come forward. Abatti throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Abatti scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Oooooh!!! Abatti has knocked Jenkins down with a huge combo! Abatti steps away and waves a wobbly Jenkins back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Brad Jenkins has been cut.
Abatti plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Jenkins swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Jenkins face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!
