And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Dirk Anderson and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jon shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Jon showed some decent athleticism there.
Jon is trying to control the action in half guard but Crovopic is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Jon is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Jon is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Jon jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Crovopic is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Crovopic and Jon has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Jon wants to control but Crovopic is keeping him busy.
My spies in Cozad The Island inform me that Jon has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Crovopic is looking to regain half guard here but Jon keeps moving and retains side control.
Jon has hold of Crovopic's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Crovopic seems comfortable defending it but Jon has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Crovopic is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Crovopic is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Jon couldn't care less - he's delighted!
