Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jose Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Gemson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gemson swats away the attempt to clinch by Garcia.

Garcia tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gemson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Gemson.

Garcia looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Garcia is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Gemson is looking to control Garcia's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Gemson avoid being mounted?

Gemson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gemson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
