Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jorge Navarro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lonnie Richard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lonnie Richard is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Navarro.

Richard looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Richard has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Navarro takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Navarro is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Richard is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Richard is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Navarro looks calm but he's in trouble here. Richard gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Navarro is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Richard lets go of the hold and Navarro can pop his arm back in it's socket.
