Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Daisuke Sasaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thiago de Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sasaki comes to the cage accompanied by The Field - Over The Ice. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Thiago de Souza!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Sano and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by de Souza or perhaps it was just good defense by Sasaki which made him look bad.
Sasaki throws a head kick that misses.
de Souza looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sasaki is fending him off so far but de Souza persists. Nope, Sasaki circles away and we're back to standing.
Sasaki fails with the takedown
and de Souza counters with a shoot takedown. Sasaki fights it but they end up in guard.
Sasaki trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Sasaki will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Sasaki working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. de Souza doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Sasaki is tightening it up a little... de Souza has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! de Souza reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! de Souza taps out! nice BJJ there by Sasaki!
