Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Cody Jimenez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mahamud Najib Osman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Najib Osman tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jimenez swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Jimenez closes the distance and pushes Najib Osman back into the cage.
Jimenez jumps guard but Najib Osman stands there with Jimenez around his waist. Jimenez gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Najib Osman manages to pull guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Mahamud Najib Osman.

Najib Osman shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Najib Osman was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Jimenez is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Najib Osman is controlling him well.
Jimenez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Jimenez enables Najib Osman to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Jimenez manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Jimenez is working an open guard so Najib Osman takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Najib Osman manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Jimenez on his heels. He'll look to pass Jimenez's guard now, I'm sure.
Jimenez wants to get back to his feet but Najib Osman is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
