King comes to the cage accompanied by When I Die - Genocide(Jusuf Dzilic). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Samir King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Chris Ferguson!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Dirk Anderson and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King goes for a double leg but Ferguson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Ferguson continues to drive forward.

Ferguson throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
King is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Ferguson lands a hook that snaps the head of King backwards.
King changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Ferguson fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Samir King. That's going to take a lot out of him.

King gets tackled into the cage by Ferguson. Ferguson maintains the clinch.
King drops down looking for an ankle pick but Ferguson pulls his leg out and moves away.
Ferguson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from King.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ferguson fails with an attempt to clinch.

Ferguson rushes King and presses him up against the cage.
Ferguson has King pushed against the cage.
Ferguson softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Ferguson lands a left hand that snaps the head of King backwards.

That's one minute gone in the round.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Ferguson creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Ferguson scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Ferguson is defending well against a takedown attempt.
King tries for a takedown. No joy.
King is breathing heavily.
A short right from Ferguson.

Ferguson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Ferguson rushes King and presses him up against the cage.
Ferguson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Ferguson pushes King back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.


King is rocked!
King has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Ferguson avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Ferguson scores with a shot to the side of King's head.
Oh King is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ferguson creates a bit of space for himself and rocks King with a big uppercut! King tries to clinch up but Ferguson pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples King to the mat! King covers up and Ferguson unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Chris Ferguson!
