Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tong Po (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paul Thompson will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Paul Thompson!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Sandra Marshall and David Hoff.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Po clinches up against the cage.
Po lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Po misses with a short punch on the inside.
Po gets underhooks to prevent Thompson's takedown attempt.
Po trying to land knees to the body.
Thompson is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Po to keep the fight standing.
A right handed body shot lands from Po.
Thompson managing to block the knees to the body from Po.
Thompson avoiding damage as Po throws knees to the body.
Thompson on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Thompson jumps into guard, dragging Po to the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Thompson is on top in guard.
Thompson stays in close to Po's body and controls the position.
Po is wriggling around but Thompson manages to pass to half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Thompson content to control rather than advance.
Po definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Thompson is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Po sees it coming and defends easily.
Po might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Thompson is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Thompson stands up out of the half guard.

Thompson gets a double leg takedown into Po's guard.
Po wants to stand up but Thompson is controlling him.
Po is breathing heavily.

Thompson gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Thompson manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Po on his heels. He'll look to pass Po's guard now, I'm sure.
Thompson controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
It looks like Thompson might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Thompson landing some decent shots from guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Thompson's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Thompson is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Thompson stands and throws Po's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Thompson works to advance to full mount. Po defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Thompson cracks Po with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Po knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Thompson on the ground.
Thompson controlling the position easily from mount.

Thompson has isolated one of Po's arms. Po looking to fight him off but Thompson twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
