Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hector Gomez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Zero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hector Gomez has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Hector Gomez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Max Zero!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, David Hoff and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomez avoids a kick to the body.
Gomez definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Gomez lands a jab to Zero's midsection.
A cross from Gomez lands.
Gomez connects with a crisp jab.
Gomez cracks Zero with a right hand to the side of the head.
Gomez moves out of range of the body kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Zero does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Gomez with a nice cross.
Gomez moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Zero attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Zero tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Max Zero seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zero misses with an uppercut.
Zero misses with a body kick.
Zero fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Horrible takedown by Zero or perhaps it was just good defense by Gomez which made him look bad.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Zero throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Zero throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Gomez counters with a crisp one two that drops Zero! Gomez thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Zero to his feet! Zero is in big trouble!
Zero is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Zero throws a leg kick that misses.
Gomez jabs Zero to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Zero misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Hector Gomez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Max Zero.
Gomez drops Zero with a beautiful combination! Zero stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Gomez is looking for the KO!
Zero is still on wobbly legs! Can Gomez finish him?
Zero switches off momentarily and Gomez cracks him with a monster right hand! Zero topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Gomez dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Gomez!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Hector Gomez!
