Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Conor Mcgregor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matheus Peixoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peixoto has chosen The ´´Natal Kid`` as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Leandro Rodrigues and Thiago Cunha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mcgregor instigates a clinch.
Mcgregor misses with the head strike.
Mcgregor swings wildly with an uppercut but Peixoto uses good head movement to avoid it.
Mcgregor keeps control of Peixoto as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
We've been informed that Peixoto has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Mcgregor throws a punch but it's blocked by Peixoto.

Mcgregor pushes off an throws an elbow but Peixoto leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Peixoto's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Peixoto shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mcgregor sprawls well. Mcgregor wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Peixoto gets slowly back to his feet.
Mcgregor tries to clinch up but Peixoto circles away and keeps his distance.

Peixoto darts in looking for a takedown but Mcgregor gets double underhooks and turns Peixoto into the cage.

Peixoto turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Peixoto manages to end up in side control.
Mcgregor wants to get back to his feet but Peixoto drags him back down.

Peixoto is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Mcgregor knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Peixoto misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Peixoto goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Mcgregor has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Peixoto but great work by Mcgregor.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Peixoto tightens his grip and picks Mcgregor up, before dumping him to the ground. Mcgregor manages to land in guard.
Mcgregor is looking to stand up but Peixoto isn't so interested in that idea.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Mcgregor tries a head kick but it misses.
Peixoto shoots for a double leg takedown but Mcgregor sprawls well. He's pushed Peixoto's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
