Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Garver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Draven Lucas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lucas has chosen Techno Viking as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Draven Lucas!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lucas dives in and scores a takedown into Garver's guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Garver holds on and takes a little breather.
Lucas postures up.
Garver has Lucas pulled in close to control his posture.

Lucas seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Daniel Garver.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Daniel Garver just wasn't active enough.
Lucas throws a right and a left that Garver avoids nicely.
We've been told by Garver's head coaches at Wrecking Crew Elite MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Lucas tries to pull guard but Garver forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Lucas is working to tighten his grip on Garver's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Garver has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Lucas is really squeezing tight and eventually Garver passes out! Lucas breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
