Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Paul Nomak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaju Akita (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paul Nomak is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Paul Nomak!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kaju Akita !
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akita tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Nomak manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Akita fails with an attempt to clinch.
Good work by Nomak as he checks the leg kick.
Akita connects with a right hand. Nomak shakes it off.
Nomak tries for a takedown but Akita sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Nomak closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Akita quickly recovers to half guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Nomak is trying to drag Akita to the mat but Akita just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Nomak wants to take the fight to the mat but Akita manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Akita lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Nomak backwards.
Akita 's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Nomak drops down looking for an ankle pick but Akita pulls his leg out and moves away.

Nomak tries to move into range but Akita moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Nomak shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Akita is trying to defend but Nomak finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Akita is controlling Nomak's trapped leg to prevent Nomak from advancing to side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Akita is trying to stand up here but Nomak is controlling him well.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Nomak slows the pace down in half guard.

Kaju Akita showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!


Akita is looking to clinch but Nomak is avoiding it.
Nomak on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
A nice inside leg kick there by Nomak. That's going to slow Akita down.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Nomak lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Akita has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Akita and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Akita tries to close the distance and clinch up but Nomak swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Nomak shoots in looking for a takedown. Akita tries to sprawl out of it but Nomak keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Akita manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

I've got Akita winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
