Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Alexio Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Azusa Moribe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva comes to the cage accompanied by A Country Boy Can Survive. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Alexio Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Azusa Moribe!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moribe connects with a jab.
Moribe keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
A slapping leg kick lands for Moribe.
Moribe lands a nice looking kick to the body. Silva takes a step back to recover.
Moribe lands a nice shot that snaps Silva's head back.
Silva uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Moribe.
Silva closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Moribe is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Azusa Moribe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Silva connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Silva has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Moribe finds it's way round the side to connect with Silva's head.
Moribe with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Silva to score with a decent uppercut.
Moribe pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Moribe throws a series of punches but Silva avoids them all with ease.
Silva misses with a straight left.
Silva looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Moribe buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Silva connects with a nice looking jab.
Moribe is looking to slow Silva down with leg kicks.
Silva throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Moribe sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Moribe keeps the fight on the outside.

Silva shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Moribe misses with a double jab

and Silva counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Moribe's guard now.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Moribe has Silva pulled in close to control his posture.
Moribe not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Silva wants to pass the guard but Moribe is keeping the position.

Silva is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Moribe is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Silva passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Silva tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Silva wants to control but Moribe is keeping him busy.

Silva tries to move into full mount but can't pass Moribe's legs.
Moribe is trying to improve his position.
Moribe is not content to let Silva control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Silva wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Moribe, who protects the arm well.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Moribe regains half guard there - taking advantage of Silva's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Azusa Moribe will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Moribe moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

It looks like Alexio Silva has been cut.
An inside leg kick lands from Moribe.
Silva cracks Moribe with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Silva misses with a hook
and Moribe counters with a leg kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from Moribe. Silva does a little dance to reset his feet.
Silva steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Moribe. That one must have hurt.
Moribe tries to clinch up but Silva circles away and keeps his distance.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Moribe throws a good cross that connects.
Silva ducks right into an uppercut from Moribe.

Silva is rocked!

Moribe lands a nice leg kick that just misses Silva's sensitive parts.
Oh Silva is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Moribe closes the distance and pushes Silva back into the cage.

Moribe breaks the clinch.
Moribe scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Silva doesn't seem bothered though.

Moribe drops Silva with a big left hand! Silva is injured, injured bad! Moribe jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
