Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Roman Reigns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Uriah Chesnokov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roman Reigns!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Uriah Chesnokov!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reigns shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Chesnokov as he avoids it easily.
Reigns tries to land a front kick but Chesnokov steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Reigns throws a head kick that misses.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Chesnokov.
Reigns has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Reigns there as he acknowledges the shot.
Reigns has a takedown stuffed.
Chesnokov looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Chesnokov gets tackled into the cage by Reigns. Reigns maintains the clinch.
Chesnokov is trying to drag Reigns to the mat but Reigns just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Reigns doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Reigns prevents the takedown attempt.
Roman Reigns has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Uriah Chesnokov.

Chesnokov landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Reigns has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Chesnokov after a bit of a struggle.
Chesnokov keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Reigns's efforts to push away.
Reigns goes for a takedown in the clinch but Chesnokov prevents it.
Chesnokov tries to pull guard but Reigns won't allow it.
Reigns jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Chesnokov walks away with a smile on his face. Reigns gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Chesnokov swats away the attempt to clinch by Reigns.
Chesnokov defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Reigns.
Reigns throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Reigns closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Reigns stands up and beckons Chesnokov to join him on the feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Chesnokov throws a nice inside leg kick.
Reigns is breathing heavily.
Chesnokov leaves Reigns with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Chesnokov closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Reigns's guard.
Reigns has a closed guard, preventing Chesnokov from standing up.
Reigns preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Chesnokov trying to control the position from guard on top but Reigns is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Reigns manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Chesnokov manages to get himself to full guard.

Reigns got a little sloppy there for a moment and Chesnokov has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Reigns has managed to get both his arms back between Chesnokov's legs - danger averted.

Reigns keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Chesnokov's head.
Reigns throwing strikes from guard but Chesnokov blocks nicely.

Reigns thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Chesnokov being controlled here, momentarily.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Chesnokov can do anything to dispel that myth.

Chesnokov is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Reigns is aware though and is defending well.
Chesnokov wants to sweep but no luck.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Chesnokov being controlled here, momentarily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Roman Reigns will probably get the nod.

Reigns looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Reigns trying to pass the guard but Chesnokov defending well.
Chesnokov throws a strike from the bottom but Reigns passes into side control!

Reigns tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Chesnokov is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Reigns is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Chesnokov wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Chesnokov is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Reigns looking for the choke from the back.
Chesnokov tries to roll but Reigns sticks to his back.
Reigns just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

Reigns is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Chesnokov has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Reigns has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Chesnokov taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Reigns doesn't care though - he's delighted!
