Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ron Burgundy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Gustafsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Burgundy looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Gustafsson uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Burgundy has time to react.

Gustafsson comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Gustafsson cracks Burgundy with an uppercut from hell and Burgundy crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Gustafsson's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
Oh Burgundy is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Gustafsson gets to his feet. Burgundy looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Burgundy seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Gustafsson shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Burgundy is backing up but Gustafsson catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Burgundy covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Gustafsson Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
