Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zane Hitsuka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ethan Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hunt has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Winston Alpacca and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hitsuka dodges the punch combination from Hunt.
Hitsuka really is a fat lump.
Hunt throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hitsuka sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Hitsuka keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Hitsuka darts in and clinches Hunt up against the cage.
Stalling in the clinch from Hunt.
Hitsuka drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Hunt gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Hitsuka has had enough of the clinch but Hunt keeps him there for the moment.
Hunt pushes Hitsuka back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Still in the clinch, Hunt scores with a nice short uppercut.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Hitsuka is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Hunt pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Hitsuka unloads with some shots from mount but Hunt bucks and avoids them well.
Hunt holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Hitsuka tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Hunt is squirming around, avoiding Hitsuka's attempts to control the action.
Hitsuka takes Hunt's back, avoiding a couple of desperation strikes from the bottom.

You can see the frustration on Hunt's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Hunt really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hitsuka. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hitsuka really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Hunt.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Hitsuka is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hunt sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Hitsuka closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hunt circles away.
Hunt dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Hitsuka tries for a takedown but Hunt manages to get underhooks.

Hunt swings wildly with an uppercut but Hitsuka uses good head movement to avoid it.

Hunt is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Hitsuka is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Hunt wants to hit a switch here but Hitsuka passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Hunt there!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hitsuka shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hunt sprawls well. Hunt wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hitsuka gets slowly back to his feet.

Hunt stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Ethan Hunt seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.
Hitsuka tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hunt will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Hitsuka up against the cage.
