Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Stanfield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shia LaBeouf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). LaBeouf has chosen Riptide as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Robert Douchet and Yves DeLean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LaBeouf chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Stanfield can pounce on him.

and LaBeouf counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

LaBeouf shoots in looking for a takedown. Stanfield tries to sprawl out of it but LaBeouf keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stanfield manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
LaBeouf connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Stanfield momentarily.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Stanfield is defended easily by LaBeouf.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw LaBeouf working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

LaBeouf perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Stanfield is trying to stand up here but LaBeouf is controlling him well.

LaBeouf wants to work for an arm triangle but Stanfield is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

LaBeouf is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Stanfield is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
