Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joe Heller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Edwards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Edwards's choice of entrance music: Welcome To The Jungle. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Juan Edwards was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Juan Edwards!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Alexandre Firmino and Paulo Santos.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edwards shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Heller as he avoids it easily.
Heller misses with a straight right.
Edwards fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Heller dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Edwards. That did some damage!
Heller swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Edwards.

It looks like Juan Edwards has been cut.
Heller will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Edwards dodges the punch combination from Heller.
Nice cross by Heller.
Edwards closes this distance looking for a takedown but Heller circles away.
Joe Heller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Juan Edwards.
Heller lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
An inside leg kick from Heller misses.
Danga de danga de dang - Heller scores with a four punch combination!
Joe Heller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Edwards takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
BOOM! Heller lands a beautiful left hook that drops Edwards. Edwards tries to recover but Heller is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Edwards lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
