Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wayne Gill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benjamin Gunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Benjamin Gunn has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gill stuns Gunn with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Gunn tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Gill defends well and Gunn ends up having to push Gill into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Gill misses with a punch to the body.

Gill breaks the clinch.
Gunn shoots for a double leg takedown but Gill sprawls well. He's pushed Gunn's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Gunn throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gill's waist but Gill gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gunn off to one side.
Wayne Gill has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Benjamin Gunn.

Gunn shoots in for a takedown but Gill shows good takedown defense.
Gill looks to land a combination but Gunn avoids it well.
Benjamin Gunn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gunn takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Gunn looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Gill lands a two punch combo.
Gill throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gunn.
Gill looks to land a right hand but Gunn moved out of range.
Gunn fails with a takedown attempt.
Gill pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Gunn back to the cage. Gill follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

That has opened up Benjamin Gunn's cut even more.
Gill is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gill dips to his left and cracks Gunn with an uppercut!
Gill leaves Gunn with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Gill throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gunn.
Gunn tries for a takedown but Gill sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Gill scores with a one two! Gunn had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Gunn changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gill tries to avoid it but Gunn manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gill to the ground. Gill escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Gill thows a body shot but no joy.
Gill is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
Gunn is trying hard to land a takedown here. Gill sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Gill lands with a nice combination. Gunn backs away looking to recover.

Gunn closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Gill did well to prevent Gunn getting side control.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Gunn thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Gunn working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Gill has hold of Gunn's hands but Gunn slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Gunn tries to pass the half guard into mount. Gill knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Gunn is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Gunn thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Gill's head.

Gunn is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Gill is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
