Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wan Benming (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronaldo Hispanyola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Benming comes to the cage accompanied by Fight the power. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benming thows a body shot but no joy.

Hispanyola has closed the distance and engaged Benming in a clinch.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hispanyola remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

The referee asks Hispanyola politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Hispanyola prefers to stall for the moment though.

Hispanyola escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Benming gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Hispanyola is pushing down on Benming's leg trying to pass to half guard. Benming is fighting to maintain full guard but Hispanyola has managed to sneak the leg through.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Benming working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hispanyola doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hispanyola manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Hispanyola drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Hispanyola seems to have locked his on tight now - Benming screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Hispanyola, as he picks up the win!
