Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between The Beast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Armos Saffedine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beast comes to the cage accompanied by MEAT. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saffedine fails to land the takedown.

Beast gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Beast is pushing Saffedine up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Beast is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Beast misses with a punch to the body.
Beast prevents a takedown attempt there.
The Beast has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Armos Saffedine.
Beast lands a left hand that snaps the head of Saffedine backwards.

It looks like Armos Saffedine has been cut.
Saffedine is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Beast gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Beast breaks from the clinch.

Beast closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
I was talking to Beast's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Beast gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Beast tries a knee to the head but Saffedine blocks it.
Beast doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Saffedine is trying to drag Beast to the mat but Beast just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Saffedine is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Beast pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Beast is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Saffedine is keeping busy.
Beast manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Beast misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Saffedine.

Beast prevents Saffedine from breaking the clinch.

Beast pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A head kick from Saffedine lands but Beast takes it in his stride.

It looks like The Beast has been cut.
Beast is looking to clinch.

Saffedine shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Saffedine passes to full mount!

Saffedine is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Beast is surviving well by controlling Saffedine's body position as best he can.
Beast is trying to stand but he's just given Saffedine his back.
Beast looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands.

Saffedine has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Beast! Can he survive? No! He's out! Saffedine gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
