Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Casy Carver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Bansa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carver comes to the cage accompanied by It's my life. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Casy Carver!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mike Bansa!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bansa misses with a double jab.

Bansa closes the distance and clinches.
Bansa is trying to drag Carver to the mat but Carver just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Carver working aggressively here.
Bansa unloads a knee to the mid-section. Carver lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Bansa looking for a takedown.
Bansa drops down looking for an ankle pick but Carver pulls his leg out and moves away.
Casy Carver has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Bansa.
Bansa slaps away a takedown attempt from Carver, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Bansa has taken the fight to the clinch.
Bansa makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Bansa changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Carver fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Bansa pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Carver is defended easily by Bansa.

Carver lands with a left to the head.
Bansa is working for takedown but Carver is calmly controlling the position for now.
Carver lands with a short shot to the head.

Carver is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Bansa's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Bansa's back!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Carver is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Bansa is defending well though. Carver let's go of the attempt for now.

Carver really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Carver is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Bansa is defending well though. Carver let's go of the attempt for now.
Even with his hooks in, Carver manages to miss with strikes from the back.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Bansa is trying to stand back up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Casy Carver will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Bansa has Carver up against the cage in a clinch.
Carver throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Bansa digs a right hand into Carver's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Carver's gas tank.
Bansa tries for a takedown. No joy.
Carver is trying to pull guard but Bansa turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Bansa on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Carver creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Bansa's defenses.
Carver gets underhooks to prevent Bansa's takedown attempt.

Bansa turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Bansa manages to end up in side control.
Bansa creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Carver is trying to control Bansa's posture but Bansa avoids it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bansa is trying to move to mount but Carver reverses beautifully and ends up in Bansa's guard.

Bansa is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Carver goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Bansa has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Carver but great work by Bansa.

It looks like Casy Carver has been cut.
Bansa unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Carver wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Bansa celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
