Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dan Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derrick Yeung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yeung is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Fluffy. Dan Hardy has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Richard Clark and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yeung closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Yeung looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Yeung will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hardy fails with an attempt to clinch.
Hardy looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Hardy tries to close the distance and clinch but Yeung swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Yeung looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hardy is fending him off so far but Yeung persists. Nope, Hardy circles away and we're back to standing.
Yeung lunges at Hardy with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Hardy's hand.
Hardy tries to clinch but Yeung is having none of it.

Yeung connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Hardy momentarily.
Hardy really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Yeung looks to land a combination but Hardy avoids it well.

Yeung stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Yeung fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hardy sprawls well initially but Yeung persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Yeung throws a strike but Hardy avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Yeung cracks Hardy's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Hardy slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Yeung can do further damage! This one is done, son!
