The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Campion shoots in and drives through. Hightower sprawls well.
Campion tries for a takedown but Hightower circles away easily
and Hightower counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Josh Campion seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Campion shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hightower as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Josh Campion. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hightower displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Campion.
Campion shoots in but no luck this time.

Hightower closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Hightower has Campion pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Campion manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Hightower! Campion is out on his feet! Hightower rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Campion is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Campion is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
