Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dean Holmes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kye Clarke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clarke ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Clarke moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

It looks like Dean Holmes has been cut.
Clarke dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Holmes doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Clarke can do anything to dispel that myth.

Holmes is nestled in close to Clarke, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That was a close second round but I would say that Dean Holmes will probably get the nod.

We've been informed that Clarke has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
