Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Karsten Feigel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vito Corleone!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corleone throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Feigel shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Corleone pinned against the cage. Corleone gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Corleone misses with a double jab
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Sloppy strikes from Corleone. Those never looked like landing.
Corleone sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Feigel tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Feigel with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Feigel dodges the punch combination from Corleone.
Feigel misses with a takedown attempt - Corleone sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Feigel shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Corleone as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Karsten Feigel. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Vito Corleone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Feigel ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Feigel slips a jab from Corleone.

Corleone throws a series of punches but Feigel moves out of range.
Feigel tries to score a power double leg takedown but Corleone sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Feigel somewhat.
Corleone throws out a loose jab but Feigel uses good head movement to avoid it.
Corleone throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Corleone is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Feigel.
Feigel drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Corleone gets tackled into the cage by Feigel. Feigel maintains the clinch.

Feigel breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Corleone has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far.
Corleone misses with the combination.
Corleone rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Feigel moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Feigel bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Corleone lands a left and a right that sends Feigel crashing to the canvas! Corleone dives into mount looking to finish!

Feigel is rocked!

It looks like Karsten Feigel has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Corleone looking to control but Feigel is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Feigel tries to hold on but Corleone pushes him away.
Feigel swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
Corleone wants to get back to his feet but Feigel is holding on tight.
Corleone wants to control the pace but Feigel is squirming around nicely.
Feigel tries to lock up and control but Corleone gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Feigel tries to reverse the position but Corleone maintains control.
Corleone wants to stand but Feigel is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Corleone stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Feigel fails with a takedown attempt.
Corleone throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

and Feigel finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Corleone fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Feigel is breathing heavily.
Feigel throws a half hearted mid kick.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Feigel. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Corleone leaves Feigel with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Feigel gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Feigel tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Corleone is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Feigel buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Feigel!! Feigel is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Corleone throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
