Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Michael Do (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Deangelo Jeremetrius Vickers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Do comes to the cage accompanied by The Godfather Theme Song. Vickers has chosen My Own Hell as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Deangelo Jeremetrius Vickers!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shirou Masuda and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Do keeps the fight on the outside.
Vickers cracks Do with a good jab.
Vickers tries to clinch there but Do circles away.
Deangelo Jeremetrius Vickers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vickers tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Do cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Vickers throws a sloppy head kick
and Do counters with a nice uppercut.
Vickers tries to close the distance and clinch but Do swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Do has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Korea Elite MMA in the buildup to the fight.
Do takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Do circles away from the clinch attempt.
Do steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Vickers.
Do avoids the head kick by Vickers.
Do takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Vickers misses with a straight right.

Vickers throws a jab but it's blocked by Do.
Vickers pivots, looking for a leg kick but Do is out of range and Vickers settles back down.
Vickers pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Do will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Do defending well as Vickers loads up on a big left hand.
Do bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Do chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Vickers can pounce on him.
The fighters circling - Vickers throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Vickers motions for Do to come forward. Vickers throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Deangelo Jeremetrius Vickers is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Do counters with a one-two to the body.

Vickers takes a swing at Do's ribcage but misses.
Do keeps the fight on the outside.
Vickers tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Vickers bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Vickers tries to clinch there but Do circles away.
Vickers fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Do misses with a double jab.
Vickers pulls out of a head kick attempt.

letting Do counter with a right hand.

and Do counters with a straight right hand.
Do keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
A good leg kick by Vickers.
Vickers slips a jab and a cross from Do.
Vickers is looking to clinch.
Do cracks Vickers with a right hand to the side of the head.
Vickers with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Vickers lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Vickers throws a solid leg kick but Do takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Vickers.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

It looks like Michael Do has been cut.

Vickers is looking to clinch but Do is avoiding it.
A big left from Vickers misses.
Do thows a left - swing and a miss!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Do, right into the meat.
Vickers swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Vickers fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Do manages to avoid it.

Do shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Do showed some decent athleticism there.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Do lands strikes from half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Deangelo Jeremetrius Vickers dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Michael Do's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Vickers misses with a body shot.
Do swats away the attempt to clinch by Vickers.
Vickers avoids the body shot from Do.
Vickers is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Vickers leaves Do with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
A nice leg kick lands there from Vickers.
Vickers lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Vickers.

The fighters circle momentarily. Vickers darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Do takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Deangelo Jeremetrius Vickers seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Vickers connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Do's hands.
Vickers fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Do is out of range.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Do ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Vickers slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Vickers clinches up with Do and pushes him back against the cage.

Vickers lands an elbow that stopped Do in his tracks for a moment.


Michael Do's cut is getting worse.
Vickers misses with an elbow strike.
Vickers is pressed up against the cage. Do has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Vickers down to the mat. Vickers avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Do ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Vickers scores with a nice strike.
Vickers misses with an uppercut.
Vickers connects with a leg kick. Do looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Vickers fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Do has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Vickers fails in his attempt to clinch.
Vickers swings for the body but Do moves out of range.
Vickers lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Vickers takes a swing at Do's ribcage but misses.

Do throws a left and a right that both miss
and Vickers counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Vickers works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.


Michael Do's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Vickers throws a head kick that misses.
Vickers throws a low kick, looking for Do's leg but Do calmly moves out of range.
Vickers swings away with a body shot that misses
and Do counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Do has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Vickers.
Do blocks a head kick by Vickers.

Vickers clinches up with Do and pushes him back against the cage.

Do tightens his grip and picks Vickers up, before dumping him to the ground. Vickers manages to land in guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Vickers pulls Do in close to prevent any damage.

Do passes Vickers's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Do scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Do missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Do has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Do not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Vickers keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Do throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Do winds up and cracks Vickers with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Do is keen to just control but Vickers is a slippery customer.
Do throwing shots but Vickers is blocking nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Deangelo Jeremetrius Vickers showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Do misses with a head shot. Vickers uses the momentum to regain guard.
Do connects with a couple of short punches.
Do trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Do landing with the ground and pound.
Do is working Vickers over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Do accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Vickers keeping moving, preventing Do from controlling successfully.
Do throwing strikes but missing.
Vickers is trying to control the position but Do postures up.
Do throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Vickers works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Vickers utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Vickers has his hands on Do's head, controlling the position.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Do trying to control but Vickers is working from the bottom.

Do in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Do loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Do with a nice head shot there.
Do postures up in Vickers's guard and throws a big left but Vickers blocks it.
Vickers wants to sweep here but Do controlling him for the moment.
Do missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Do throwing strikes from guard but Vickers blocks nicely.
Vickers is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Do pushing down on Vickers's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Do is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Do is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Do looking to control but Vickers is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Do lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.


Vickers is rocked!
Vickers tries to hold on but Do postures up.
Vickers is still in real trouble! Can Do finish him?
Do postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Vickers badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Do around the waist but Do pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Do is the winner by TKO! Do jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Michael Do!
A very excited looking Michael Do rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
