Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave Boyler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Riley Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dave Boyler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Riley Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Damien Edna and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boyler tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Boyler throws a head kick that Jackson semi-blocks.
Nice sprawl there from Jackson as Boyler shoots in.
Jackson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A solid leg kick lands there for Boyler.
Boyler shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jackson as he jumps to the side.

and Boyler counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jackson thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Boyler might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Jackson lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Boyler!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Jackson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Boyler changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jackson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Boyler feints and as Jackson raises his hands in defense, Boyler changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
