The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Nard Betker and Wagner Zegers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Maldon throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hendricks was covering up waiting for the punch and Maldon finishes the takedown easily into guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Maldon postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Maldon stands up over Hendricks, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Maldon scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hendricks doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Maldon passes Hendricks's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hendricks regains full guard. Nicely done.
Maldon lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Hendricks will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Maldon is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Hendricks is hurt! He's hurt bad - Maldon fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Hendricks from any more punishment! Congratulations to Maldon! Great finish!
