Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Thiago Alvares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and kimula sondre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alvares's entrance music is The Wild Boys. A fine choice. sondre comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Archie- We REady kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alvares throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
sondre lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
kimula sondre seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fighters circle momentarily. sondre darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
A swing and a miss from sondre.
sondre uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Alvares.

sondre rushes Alvares and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Alvares escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
sondre tries to close the distance and clinch but Alvares swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Alvares tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but sondre swivels and escapes.
sondre scores with a nice right hand.
sondre bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

sondre closes the distance and clinches.
sondre is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Alvares tries to pull guard but sondre holds him up against the cage and eventually Alvares drops back down to his feet.

Alvares drags the fight down to the ground.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

sondre gets to his feet - Alvares follows without any prompting.
sondre blocks a jab.
Alvares swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and sondre counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Alvares shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and sondre counters with a left and a right... And another left! Alvares is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!
