Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Roderick Woodward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tristan Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tristan Lee has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Roderick Woodward!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tristan Lee!
The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Steve Erwin and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Lee closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Woodward is trying to get back to half guard.
Woodward really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Woodward is working hard here to advance position.
Lee trying to control the position but Woodward is working away.
A lull in the action here as Lee stalls from top position.

Lee goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Woodward has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Lee but great work by Woodward.

Lee is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Woodward's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Lee slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Woodward postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Woodward has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Lee throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Woodward escapes and throws Lee's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Check out the look on Woodward's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Woodward is trying to get an arm triangle but Lee is defending well.
Woodward will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Lee is looking to reverse the position.
Lee avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Woodward.
Lee manages to work his way to half guard, despite Woodward's best efforts.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Woodward looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Woodward moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Lee.

Lee on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Lee regains half guard.

Lee looking for submissions off his back.
Lee is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

Woodward seems to be looking for submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Woodward is keen to just control but Lee is a slippery customer.
The fighters are battling for position here. Lee manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Woodward with a flurry of punches that miss.
Woodward throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Lee preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Lee has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Woodward can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lee is wriggling around but Woodward manages to pass to half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The fighters are battling for position here. Lee manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nice takedown defense from Woodward. No joy for Lee on that attempt.
Woodward shoots for a double leg takedown but Lee sprawls well. He's pushed Woodward's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Lee shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Lee stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lee wants it to stay on the feet.
Woodward shoots in but Lee avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Roderick Woodward. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Woodward closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Lee did well to prevent Woodward getting side control.

Lee is looking for a sweep. Woodward is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Lee is controlling Woodward's trapped leg to prevent Woodward from advancing to side control.
Lee is trying to stand back up but Woodward is controlling him
Woodward missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Lee tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Lee makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Lee.
Lee controls Woodward momentarily but Woodward frees himself.

Woodward is posturing up here but Lee has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Woodward tries to roll out but it's too tight and Woodward has to tap! Slick submission there by Lee!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Tristan Lee!
During a confident post fight interview, Tristan Lee thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
