The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circle momentarily. Eerkilaa darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Eerkilaa leaves Garcia with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Garcia takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Garcia moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Eerkilaa lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Garcia backs up against the ropes.
Garcia looks to land a left hand but Eerkilaa moved out of range nicely.

Eerkilaa feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Garcia sprawling to the canvas! Garcia rolls over backwards and springs off the ropes and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Eerkilaa finish him?!

Garcia is rocked!
Garcia closes this distance looking for a takedown but Eerkilaa circles away.
Eerkilaa connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Garcia covering up! Eerkilaa comes in with a big uppercut and Garcia goes doooown! He's slumped up against the ropes, eyes staring blankly into space.
