Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Hosea Castaneda!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Adrian Passe!
The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Hugh Johnson and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Passe throws a nice head kick!
It looks like Hosea Castaneda has been cut.
Passe clinches.
Castaneda jumps guard.
Castaneda is pulling down on Passe's head. It's preventing any offense from Passe, at least for the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Castaneda really is a fat lump.
We're going to have a standup here because Hosea Castaneda wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Castaneda is trying to break the clinch but Passe is controlling him.
Castaneda ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Castaneda no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Passe wants to get up but he can't break Castaneda's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Passe got a little sloppy there for a moment and Castaneda has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Passe has managed to get both his arms back between Castaneda's legs - danger averted.

Castaneda is working an open guard so Passe takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Castaneda tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Castaneda looks for a takedown but Passe sprawls well.
Passe throws a series of punches but Castaneda avoids them all with ease.
Passe throws a right hand that Castaneda ducks under and follows up with a left that Castaneda also avoids with ease.
Passe looks winded!
Passe closes the distance and clinches.
Castaneda gets control of Passe's arms and successfully pulls guard. Castaneda will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Castaneda has a closed guard, preventing Passe from standing up.
Passe wants to stand and escape but instead Castaneda has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Castaneda lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Castaneda stands up and waves to Passe to follow him.
Passe has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Castaneda is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Castaneda closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Passe's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Castaneda stops Passe from standing up.
Castaneda with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Castaneda gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Castaneda looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Passe!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Castaneda is trying to get an arm triangle but Passe is defending well.

Castaneda is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Passe looks calm but he's in trouble here. Castaneda gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Passe is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Castaneda lets go of the hold and Passe can pop his arm back in it's socket.
